1980年herbert?dreiseitl在ueberlingen（德國）創(chuàng)建了atelier?dreiseitl公司，目的是推廣一些較高的審美價值和社會價值的可持續(xù)發(fā)展項目。atelier是一個融藝術(shù)，城市水文學,?環(huán)境工程與景觀設(shè)計于城市設(shè)計中的多方面的實踐結(jié)合體.?水是地球上最重要的和受威脅的自然資源之一，?通過我們?nèi)娴脑O(shè)計實施解決方案來喚醒人們對水的的新可持續(xù)發(fā)展的理解。而今，atelier?dreiseitl公司已經(jīng)發(fā)展成擁有北京、ueberlingen（德國）、伯特蘭（美國）、新加坡四個工作室的國際團隊。?
