Software?Engineer?duties?will?include?installing?and?commissioning?of?a?Festo?automation?screw?driving?appliance?at?the?machine’s?end?user?location.?This?will?require?software?skills.It?will?require?basic?computer?skills?to?use?a?laptop?computer?and?connect?to?the?machine?via?an?Ethernet?port?or?hub.?Once?connected,?the?software?engineer?will?be?required?to?open?a?machine?web?server?and?execute?basic?calibration?programs.
Skills?Required:
Software:
1. 2?years?experience?in?mechanical-electrical,?especially?industry?site?support?experience
2. Exposure?to?PLC?programming?or?Motion?Controller?(Delta?Tau,?Galil?or?Other)?software?experience?necessary,?in?Minimum?level
3. Experience?with?Internet?Explorer?and?web?page?interfaces?(manually?entering?web?address?or?IP?address?into?the?browser.)
4. Ability?to?be?able?to?follow?written?instructions?for?software?updates?and?changes?and?confirm?that?the?changes?have?been?implemented?successfully.
5. Ability?to?debug?and?articulate?problems?seen?on?the?tool?to?his/her?peers?to?help?converge?on?the?solution
